Euroline®

Euroline® nettings are produced with High Tenacity Polyethylene fibres (HTPE).

 

Euroline®  “leading in abrasion resistance”, is a classic in codends and trawl nets due to its high resistance to abrasion which translates into a longer useful life giving it around 30% more strength than normal twines. Its compact construction and thermofixed knots make Euroline® a strong netting.

 

The advantages of using Euroline® netting are:

• Better strength
• Less drag (smaller size twines can be used)
• Less sand penetration (less shrinkage)
• Excellent cost/useful life ratio.

 

Euroline® for single mesh codends (8 and 10 mm)

Euroline® 8 and 10 mm nettings, are stabilized to reduce the size of the knot and decrease its abrasion.

 

They offer significant advantages compared to the classical codends of double twines:

• Easy to repair and handle

• For single layer Codends, helps reducing by-catch

• Less resistance to forward motion

• Lower operating costs/fuel consumption

• Helps to decrease the incidental capture (in single layer codends only).
